Commissions

Primarily equine portraits lovingly rendered into your own custom painting. Commissioning your own painting is a very personal and fulfilling experience. Shannon is here to guide you through the process and have it be a wonderful experience from start to finish.

HOW TO COMMISSION A PAINTING  - Conversation starts with thoughts around your utmost desires & preferences in a custom painting. Shannon prefers to visit about your ideals, what and how you envision your equine friend being immortalized for you and your family to enjoy indefinitely. Providing high quality photographs is of the utmost importance at this stage, while we determine if this is a good fit.  She also offers the service of photographing your chosen subject matter for references if the opportunity presents itself. Once the reference is determined, the next step is choosing the size of your painting. Placement of the painting in your home or office will help determine the size of your painting. When your painting is complete after these determining factors are in place, you will receive a high res photograph for final approval of your piece. Visiting the studio to view your painting in person is optional.

FRAMING & SHIPPING - We offer custom framing for your new original painting. Shipping is worldwide in secure packaging. Framing and shipping cost pending on personalized client choices.

PAYMENT - Upon commencement of your painting a 50% non-refundable deposit is installed. When you approve of your painting once completed, balance is due. Shannon also offers payment plans as well and is happy to entertain this option with you.

The best part of the commission process is receiving your one of a kind, museum quality original painting and seeing it in person for an eternity. Contact Shannon with any questions you may have about the process or for more information.

TIME FRAME - A fluid subject, pending on Shannon's commitments at the time, will determine the time frame of completion and delivery of your painting. The ongoing waiting list suggests to plan ahead, primarily if you have a special occasion and deadline in mind.
