A horse of rare presence and unmistakable grit, Cowboy embodies the very qualities that define todays reined cow horse - athleticism, heart, and a quiet intensity that speaks volumes. 

This is a study of feel and true character - the same elements defining the quintessential Quarter Horse. Through brush and color, Shannon sought to convey not only Cowboy’s physical presence, but the intangible quality that makes a great one unforgettable.
